Navterra is a global automotive export business with operations in San Francisco, New York and Stockholm. Founded by automotive industry professionals Matti Klintberg and David Fitzpatrick, Navterra gives dealers around the world direct online access to U.S. automobile auctions while minimizing the risk of buying used vehicles online and on a different continent. Navterra raises the bar in the used automobile export business by combining the best practices of new car manufacturers with its unique “Q5 Zero Risk™ Process.” Navterra’s Q5 Zero Risk™ Process is a rigorous 5-step quality control protocol that guarantees each Navterra Certified vehicle arrives at its destination in the condition as documented prior to export. Please refer to the FAQs tab on our web site for a detailed explanation of how this process works.
Navterra understands that there are plenty of wholesalers, traders and auction companies offering used vehicles from North America. However, none of these entities is a full service provider which offers the level of transparency, value-added services and guarantees that Navterra does. With operations in the United States and Europe, Navterra controls the entire process of sourcing, reconditioning and exporting vehicles and can assist with importing and homologating vehicles in Europe. Control over the entire process ensures the highest level of customer service and vehicle condition that no other company can match.
Matti Klintberg is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the Navterra companies. He brings a deep knowledge of the North American vehicle import business in Europe to the management team.
Klintberg was responsible for a large volume Cadillac Corvette Experience Center and HUMMER Gallery in Sweden. He has been importing/selling North American vehicles and parts since 1992.
Klintberg holds a degree in business from IHM Business School in Stockholm, Sweden.
David Fitzpatrick is responsible for developing strategic partnerships with North American based suppliers as well as dealer network development and finance. He brings a strong automotive background of wholesale, retail and export experience to the management team.
Fitzpatrick’s previous position was with International Fleet Sales (IFS), a General Motors export distributor, where he was responsible for wholesale export distribution programs. Prior to IFS, he managed a retail General Motors brand in California and held sales assignments with General Motors and GMAC throughout the United States.
Fitzpatrick holds a bachelor’s degree in advertising from Michigan State University and an MBA from University of San Francisco.
